History
eLLC began with one man's dream of finding a better way to learn languages. That dream has since become one of the world's most recognized technology-based learning companies.
Allen Stoltzfus, the founder of the Natural Immersion method, set out in the late 1980s to develop an effective way to learn a new language through natural immersion after struggling to learn Russian with traditional methods. He brought this method to life by using computer technology to simulate how people learn their native language—through images and sound in context, without translation—for learners of all ages.
